Civil Engineering, one of the oldest Engineering disciplines involves planning, designing
and executing structural works including designing, supervision and construction
activities of water works, sewers, dams, power plants, transmission towers/lines,
railroads, highways, bridges, tunnels, irrigation canals, river navigation, shipping canals,
traffic control, mass transit, airport runways, terminals, industrial plant buildings,
skyscrapers etc.
We are proud to introduce the branch of Civil Engineering from this academic year
onwards. The Department is enriched with highly qualified faculty and sophisticated
equipment. Our aim is to engage our students, faculty and staff in the integration, creation
and dissemination of knowledge through teamwork, research and personalized
instruction. |
