| The department of ECE was established in 2001 in the UG programme. The department has good infrastrucural facilitates and is equipped with full-fledged laboratories. The department also has audio-visual facilities with one LCD and 4 Projectors (OHP) for effective teaching. The staff members are deputed to participate in workshops, conferences, symposia and refresher courses to keep in pace with recent developments in the field of Electronics & Communications Engineering. The teaching faculty is active in attending seminars and workshops by the staff in National/International technical meets. The Department is rated as one of the best departments in the Private Sector and is attracting top rankers in EAMCET. The students of the department have established a consistently high academic record for all these years with more than 50% of them securing first class .Guest lectures are conducted under its banner to enlarge the horizons of the students beyond the scope of the curriculum. The Department has established the practice of inviting specialists from other reputed institutions to deliver extension lectures on topics of current interest and future importance to kindle the enthusiasm of the students and staff. These experts are drawn from educational institutions and industrial organizations of repute. |
